Apple iTunes has received all the media attention in the online music distribution field, but also the Spanish pioneering company can put some impressive figures on the table.
According to the source Rhapsody is streaming a stunning 350.000 songs per day. Rhapsody is selling songs on a per-burn basis, which means that they’ll charge $0.79 per a song burned to a CD.
Rhapsody would not disclose how many tracks were actually burned in June, but it said that on-demand streaming has increased 45 percent to more than 11 million songs, or more than 350,000 songs per day, in June.
