Modern Warfare 2 DLC sets record

Infinity Ward, the developer behind the blockbuster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has said today that sales of the Stimulus Package DLC have jumped to 2.5 million in its first week of availability.
The DLC costs $15 USD and adds three multiplayer maps alongside updating two of the original maps.

The developer also notes that the DLC was downloaded 1 million times in its first 24 hours of availability.

Activision, the publisher behind the game, also added that the sales were a record for the Xbox 360.

If it were not for always-on DRM, I would own this game and the DLC...but I'm not gonna play an FPS on a console, and I am not going to buy anything with "Always On" DRM.

Well I hope they (the consumers) are happy because I can't imagine giving them $75 of my money for that game + the DLC.

This crap pack doesn't deserve a record cause all the maps except old school crash suck. Overgrown pfffft worst freaking camping map of all time next to creek.

Vacant, downpour, district,Chinatown, backlot, broadcast and ambush are all better than this hippi crack.

this game doesn't use an "always on" drm, your thinking of ubisoft, not activision.

only thing i hate about this game is the lack of servers... game always lags when being hosted by a slow user
