Apple confirms iPhone 4S battery issues Apple has confirmed today that some iPhone 4S (and other iPhone) owners are experiencing bad battery life.
The company is working on a fix for iOS 5 and will release it within weeks.

Says the company (via ATD):

A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices. We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.

Users have been complaining since last month when Apple released iOS 5, the latest software update for their iOS devices.

Yep...one of the things I don't like about the iPhone. The aftermarket battery you got is it much more powerful than the stock htc sensations battery? Normally batteries range from 1600-2200 mah..would it be possible to install something along the lines of a 3300 nah lithium ion battery. I think someone was telling me how they diff that with their windows phone 7.

Yes, it is, in almost every way...but in terms of battery life on the stock battery, a 3G android phone is a lot better than a 3G iPhone, and a 4G android is about the same as a 3G iPhone...and a 4G android with an aftermarket battery is about the same as a 3G android with a stock battery.

All of the stock batteries on the Android phones I've owned have been worse than the iPhone 4. That was prior to iOS 5 though. With iOS 5 the iPhone 4 battery life has dropped to the same level as those Androids.

No. Not so long as you don't value actual quality, open development, and a regard for the consumer; then Android is certainly no better.

Truth be told, coming from a BB, Apple battery life is a lot better than my BB. I am not having battery issues with my 4s.
