Microsoft expands Surface RT availability to new retail outlets Microsoft has announced today that they have boosted production of their Surface RT tablet and will also expand availability to new retail outlets.
The tablets will soon be available at Best Buy, Staples and other retailers which have thousands of retail stores across the nation.

Until this week, the device had only been available online or through Microsoft Stores, which are few and far between with none being on the East Coast at all.

Sales at Best Buy and Staples begin tomorrow with other retailers getting the devices next week.

Microsoft has yet to reveal sales numbers for their tablet, with analyst predictions being all over the map.

Is anyone else like me and waiting for the real goods. Windows 8 full on a tablet with good battery life. Microsoft would be gods again if they brought the pc to the tablet in this way....so why are they giving us this Windows 8RT which should have been called Windows 9AE (as in ALMOST EDITION).
