Verizon slashes data plan prices for new and existing customers

Verizon Wireless, looking to keep up with the insane customer growth rival T-Mobile is seeing, has slashed data plan pricing across the board for new and existing customers.
As part of their More Everything service, nearly every data plan has been reduced by $10 a month, and new GB tiers have been added to give users more options. The new tiers go as high as 20GB and only the 500MB and 10GB tiers have not seen any change.

"Just about a year ago, Verizon Wireless expanded what customers experience with a shared data plan when we introduced MORE Everything on the best 4G LTE network," said Verizon Wireless chief marketing officer Nancy Clark. "As the market leader, we are committed to delivering customers the solutions and value that make sense for their lifestyles."

In addition, Verizon will allow some qualifying customers to add smartphones to the "Verizon Edge" plan for $15 per month and a $15 or $25 discount off your total monthly bill. Edge allows for shared data, and allows customers to pay no upfront cost for a new phone and then finance it for 24 months.

Half the prices twice and and we got a deal!

What a joke ! $30 for 1 gb doesn't seem as good of deal as the $30 for unlimited that I have with them. I usually use about 3 gb a month so that would cost $20 more geez.

Still too expensive! This is comparable to the "Unlimited texting" for 20/month......HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!!!!!!!!

Verizon may have great service but their customer service is terrible and the company is as arrogant as can be.....like Comcast, they are truly the epitome of American greedy assed business.

Yeah if those other Joker's service was half as good where I live they might have to worry. As it is they have nothing to worry about.
