evasi0n, by team evad3rs, is a tool that can be used to jailbreak Apple's iPhone (up to 5), iPad, iPad mini and iPod touch devices running iOS 6.0-6.1.
The jailbreak takes advantage of several bugs in iOS 6.0-6.1 in order to break the Apple restrictions on the device, allowing for unapproved apps to be installed and other modifications be made to the phone.
