Sony PlayStation Network
Nearly five years after a major cyberattack exposed the data of nearly 100 million users, Sony has rolled out two-factor authentication to the PlayStation Network.
A group of hackers calling themselves the 'Lizard Squad' have taken down both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network today, denying gamers access to multiplayer gaming and other online downloads.ˇ
As is standard every few months, Sony has scheduled PlayStation Network maintenance in which many services will be unavailable.
The Sony PlayStation Network remains down thanks to a DDoS attack earlier this morning.
Sony has announced that there will be an extended PlayStation Network (PSN) maintenance scheduled to take place on Monday, November 9th for European PlayStation gamers.
