VSO launches PhotoDVD

23 August 2004 9:01 by Lasse "cd-rw.org" Penttinen | 1 comment

VSO launches PhotoDVD The VSO Software continues to expand their product line with the release of PhotoDVD. Digital photography and imaging has been one of the biggest selling trends of the millennium so far, and it is still growing. As the number of digital cameras, including camera phones, keeps on growing, so does the demand for practical and efficient archival methods. After all, there are many digital camera photographers, with limited computer expertise. PhotoDVD tackles this problem by keeping it simple.
VSO PhotoDVD is probably one of the easiest program to create an animated slideshow of your digital pictures to watch them on a regular home DVD player. Don't waste time on complex products when you can simply share your digital pictures on a DVD with friends or family. VSO PhotoDVD takes your digital pictures and animates them to create a compatible DVD movie with optional soundtracks. The result is attractive and vibrant. The product is very easy to use and it is compatible with your DVD writer.

A wizard style interface lets you define the folders or files where to select the pictures. You can define a list of music files to play in the background. The transitions and animations of your pictures are completely automatic and will enhance the experience of sharing your best memories. You can watch the results on a regular TV or computer using a DVD Player. This format uses the best quality available at the moment. A copy of your source files is stored in the DVD project and lets you keep trace of your digital pictures without quality loss using a computer.

VSO PhotoDVD key features:

  • Digital pictures in JPG / GIF / BMP / ANI / PCX / EMF / WMF formats and more
  • Optional soundtrack in MP3 / WMA / OGG / MPC /WAV / APE formats
  • DVD output on DVD+/-(R)W media and double layer

  • You can store thousands of pictures on a DVD.

You can burn immediately using the well known VSO burning engine used in several commercial products but you can also save the project on your local hard drive first.
Download the trial for VSO Software.

The best investment I've made so far for my pictures. It's a good (and very easy) way to download your photos onto DVD and send to friends and the additional music feature makes it more professional. My friends think I'm a genius!!!
