SlySoft releases AnyDVD HD beta

SlySoft has released a beta version of "AnyDVD HD", which can now decrypt Advanced Access Content System (AACS) on HD DVD titles to assist in backup copying or in bypassing High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) restrictions enforced on incompatible display devices. The beta version is v6.1.2.0, here is the changelog...

New: Added support for new versions of the SONY ARccOS protection to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
New: Added HD DVD and AACS support. (Registered users need an upgrade key, currently only available to registered beta testers)
Fix: Problem with multi-angle titles and Sony Arccos protection
Some minor fixes and improvements

This version of SlySoft's popular anti-DRM software also supports on-the-fly re-mastering of HD DVD. If you want to test HD DVD decryption but you have bought AnyDVD (not running in demo mode) you have to remove your AnyDVD license key (easiest way to do so is to rename the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareSlysSoftAnyDVDKey to something else using regedit).

Yeah but they seemed to have forgotten us average joes who bought the AnyDVD software and other programs. They need to keep on top of AnyDVD and play with the new HD stuff as they have time. There are not enough owners of HD burners to warrant ignoring the older program. I for one will not be recommending it any more, when ripit4me works BETTER now. [ + quote]

but the problem right now it isn't cost effective to backup HD/Blu-Ray. DVDs burners are 600.00 plus dollars and blanks are very high [ + quote]

so by the time bluray and hd burners become cheap as well as the media it will be just as easy to copy hd and blue ray titles as it is to copy standard def dvds, awsome. anydvd is the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! [ + quote]
