Viewdle Inc. Opens EMEA Headquarters

LUXEMBOURG and NEW YORK, October 9 /PRNewswire/ --

Viewdle, Inc. (www.viewdle.com), a facial-recognition based video search
platform, today announced the opening of its EMEA Headquarters. Located in
Luxembourg (90 rue de Cessange, L-1320), this strategic location will enable
the company to serve its growing global customer base, which includes Reuters
Labs. The company is adding four new staff members to provide a full range of
services from this location.

Viewdle's Luxembourg office will be led by Gerard Bonnevay, executive
vice president for Viewdle EMEA. He is the founder of CELIMAGE S.A. and has
worked as an entrepreneur for the past 20 years in the digital world, as well
as the traditional publishing industry. Christophe Perini will lead sales and
business development efforts throughout the EMEA region. He is the founder of
A.L.C.and Co. and his extensive experience includes work with Europe On Line,
Canal Europe Audiovisuel and Johnson and Johnson France. Francis Crochot
serves as director of technical operations, building on his years of work in
broadcast and degree in broadcast design and engineering from METZ in France.
Tristan Schmurr, systems engineering and integration, is an IT specialist
that will lead client implementations.

"The global media market place recognizes the value in Viewdle's
sophisticated technology which relies on a universal approach that uses faces
for indexing and searching video content rather than text, which varies from
language to language," said Yuri Frayman, CEO, Viewdle. "The addition of our
full-service Luxembourg office will enable us to better serve these clients
as well as to continue to develop other uses and markets for Viewdle
technology throughout the EMEA region."

Viewdle Inc.'s core technology is the Viewdle Engine, a video indexing
and reference system that fuses pioneering, facial-recognition visual
analysis technology along with other leading search techniques to
automatically look inside video streams, frame-by-frame, to recognize and
index appearances of people on-screen. Viewdle solves the inefficiencies that
exist in current rich media indexing and searching methodologies, which rely
on expensive and time consuming manual viewing and tagging or error-prone
transcripts. Instead,

Viewdle technology benefits customers in numerous industry segments,
including: content producers and distributors (e.g. entertainment & news
media); video advertising and monitoring companies; search engines; cable
service providers; and video archival and stock houses. Additionally, Viewdle
will soon launch developer, advertising and consumer-facing applications.

Viewdle is headquartered in New York City, with offices in Kiev, London
and Luxembourg.
