One of the region's leading entrepreneurs won a top accolade at the
regional final of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year awards on Monday
25 June.
Edward Belgeonne, Chief Executive and founder of Destiny Wireless Plc,
based in Guildford, was selected ahead of 32 other finalists to be named
Entrepreneur Of The Year in the Science and Technology category. The award
was presented at a special ceremony held at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole
Hotel.
Edward, 45, who is married with three children and lives in
the Guildford area, said: "It's a real honour to be chosen for such a
prestigious award. It's also a tribute to the passion and hard work of the

The CEO of the multimillion pound digital technology business
was commended by an independent judging panel for his 'innovative products'
and 'strategic direction.'
