Raritan Europe Appoints New Managing Director
LONDON, July 5 /PRNewswire/ --
-- Peter Moerland to retire after 40 years in the IT business --
Raritan today announced that Gerard Heuvel has been promoted to Managing
Director of Europe, following the retirement of Peter Moerland. Mr. Heuvel
will oversee all business activities of Raritan's offices in France, Germany,
The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the recently opened office in Sweden.
Prior to Mr. Heuvel's new appointment, he served for three years as
Raritan's Director Sales and Operations.
"My focus for the near term will be to achieve sustainable growth
together with our partners by taking advantage of our new KVM-over-IP
solution, the Dominion(R) KX II, the new line of Intelligent Remote Power
Distribution Units, and our other remote management solutions that help
improve productivity and uptime in data centers and branch offices," said Mr.
Heuvel. "I look forward to continue working with our partners and with
customers to meet their IT infrastructure management needs."
Mr. Moerland retired after working in the IT business for 40 years -- to
the day -- of which 12 years were with Raritan. Mr. Moerland will now serve
as a consultant to Raritan. Starting as a reseller for Raritan in Europe, he
grew the business into a multi-million dollar business. He later joined
Raritan and built a successful organization that helped set Raritan on its
growth path.
