Merck Serono (NYSE: SRA), a division of Merck KGaA, announced today the
launch of its new website (http://www.merckserono.net). The fully redesigned
website provides in-depth and up-to-date information on the Merck Serono
division, in particular on its medical treatments, services and research &
development activities, along with the latest news about the division.

and transparent communication with our various stakeholders," said François

The website is designed for ease of navigation and use so that
visitors can quickly access the information they are seeking. New websites
for Merck Serono's local affiliates will be launched throughout 2008.
