LONDON, June 3 /PRNewswire/ --

- America's Leading Gadget Blog Comes to Poland

America's leading gadget and technology site Engadget, (
http://engadget.com ), has today launched in Poland at http://pl.engadget.com
as part of AOL's global expansion. The Poland launch signals the next phase
of increasing the brand's global presence, with plans to launch into other
European countries in the future.

Engadget Poland joins http://www.aol.pl and
http://www.winamp.pl as AOL continues to grow it's Polish language offering,
which currently has over 1.9 million UVs in Poland.1 Engadget Poland will
feature content and topics with local and international flavour and focus on
subjects including product release rumours, product reviews and articles
written by and for technology and gadget enthusiasts. A growing team of
local editors will be responsible for creating engaging and up-to-date content
for the Polish audience.

Engadget is a blog with obsessive daily coverage of everything
new in gadgets and consumer electronics. In the U.S., Engadget was named in
the top 10 of Time.com's 2007 Top 25 Blogs Index2 and was the only tech blog
to be ranked in the top 3 for both most popular and most credible by
technology journalists in the 2008 Brodeur Media Survey.3 Engadget features
hundreds of posts a week on the latest from the tech world and has over 1.8
million monthly users.4

"We are excited about launching Engadget in Poland, and
continuing to take the AOL Technology Network to a global audience," said
Marty Moe, Senior Vice President, AOL Money & Finance, Weblogs, KOL, News &
Sports. "This new site reflects our ongoing commitment to create the most
compelling destinations for consumers and advertisers on the Web, bringing
robust content into an increasingly fragmented online community."

Ariel Eckstein, Vice President of Business Expansion, AOL
Europe added, "Bringing Engadget to Poland is the next step in broadening our
offering to Polish consumers by introducing leading AOL properties that
complement AOL.pl and our Winamp offerings. We plan to follow up the Engadget
launch with additional Polish language offerings."

The launch of Engadget Poland joins other non-English Engadget
sites including, Engadget Japan, Engadget China and Engadget Spanish.
Engadget was launched in March of 2004 in partnership with the Weblogs, Inc.
Network (WIN), with local versions available for Spain, Japan and China. AOL
acquired Weblogs, Inc. in November 2005.
