ControlPay Expands Into Asian Freight Market

The fast growing Dutch company ControlPay is expanding its activities on
the Asian market. The freight audit solutions provider intends to open two
new offices in Asia within two years and is to host a seminar in Singapore on
August 12 to discuss the benefits of automated freight invoice audit
processes.

According to operation manager Pieter Kinds, transportation costs are
becoming more complex and that's why large, multinational and multi-site
companies see the benefits of ControlPay. Customers include Bridgestone and
Gillette, for which the company handles the complete transport order
management and administrative and financial settlement.

In Asia more and more companies are beginning to understand that freight
payment and audit services can increase efficiency and decrease
transportation costs. A recent study shows that the need for clear and
reliable data is growing fast. Close to 40% of major Asia-based companies are
planning to utilize some form of freight payment and audit service in the
next two years. During the Singapore seminar on August 12 ControlPay will
explain the benefits and opportunities of automated freight invoice audit
processes. It will also demonstrate its proprietary system, FRED.
