qeep Mobile Community Reaches 500,000 User Mark

COLOGNE, Germany, October 29 /PRNewswire/ --

- Young People From 192 Countries Meet on qeep to Chat, Play Games and
get to Know Each Other.

- Page Views in the Mobile Community Climb Higher, and Higher.

qeep, the successful mobile community, is excited to celebrate its two
year launch anniversary and has reached the half-million mark in users. Young
people in 192 countries, everywhere from the USA to India and Greenland to
South Africa, are using the network to keep up with their friends while on
the-go and to find new chat friends. Currently between 4000 and 5000 new
users are signing up each day giving qeep a monthly growth rate of 25 to 30
percent.

"For young people, it's hard to imagine everyday life without
social communities and now these communities are moving over onto mobile
phones," says qeep co-founder, Cornelius Rost. The increasing number of
internet capable mobiles and the lowering of mobile internet data transfer
charges ensure that social network usage on mobile phones will only continue
to intensify. The activity on their platform is in turn, growing and growing:
qeep recorded over 60 million page impressions for the month of September;
more than double the impressions recorded in July. In order to provide the
best mobile surfing and chatting experience, it's been qeep's goal since the
beginning to provide a friendly environment in which people from all over the
world can interact.

The young target group, ages 17 to 22, are especially open to
mobile services like qeep. "Teenagers and young adults are on the go a lot
and even then, they want to stay in touch with their friends. With qeep it's
possible to, for example, upload a photo album, play games against other
online users or even shoot so-called Sound Attacks directly into a friend's
mobile. Our users like that and it offers them a number of diverse
possibilities, regardless of when or where," continues Rost.

The social network qeep has no international boundaries; it
can be accessed worldwide. Since the launch of the English version at the
beginning of 2008, qeep has gathered a notable amount of international users;
especially in Great Britain, South Africa, Indonesia, India and the U.S.
qeep's journey doesn't stop there. Still ahead for the German start-up are
additional language versions and many more innovative features only to be
found on qeep.
