LUTON, England, September 7 /PRNewswire/ --

- No Booking Fees on All Monarch Flights Paid Via PayPal

Award winning low fares airline, Monarch, and global leader in online
payments, PayPal, are celebrating a successful two year partnership by
rewarding customers and removing booking fees for all flights booked via
www.monarch.co.uk and paid for via PayPal.

Between 04 and 30 September 2009, all scheduled Monarch flights booked on
monarch.co.uk and paid for via PayPal will have the booking fee waived,
meaning great savings* for PayPal customers looking to get away and take
advantage of Monarch's year-round low fares.

PayPal offers a convenient way to pay online as well as protecting
customers' transactions and personal information. Once customers open an
account, their financial details are securely stored, meaning that when
paying for Monarch flights via PayPal , customers do not need to re-enter
their financial details, and are therefore able to benefit from a faster
booking process.

Commenting on the PayPal partnership and promotion, managing director of
Monarch Flights and Holidays, Liz Savage, said, "Monarch was the first
European Airline to join forces with PayPal in 2007 and offer customers a
secure alternative to credit and debit card transactions. A growing number of
our customers now choose to pay for their flights using PayPal and have spent
over GBP10 million since its introduction. As a thank you to them for their
continued support, we are delighted to be waiving the booking fees on all
flights booked on monarch.co.uk and paid for using PayPal before the end of
September."

Also commenting on the partnership, Carl Scheible, PayPal's UK managing
director, said, "Monarch's decision to accept PayPal in 2007 was a landmark
for us, showing consumers they could use PayPal on a wide range of websites
as well as eBay.co.uk. We've been delighted at how many PayPal customers have
booked flights with Monarch. A growing number of big brands also now accept
PayPal on their websites, giving our 26 million UK account holders more
choice than ever when they shop online."

Monarch operates scheduled flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal and
Cyprus from Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester airports.
In addition to year-round low fares, Monarch also offers a unique range of
tasty hot and cold meals onboard with prices from GBP3.00. To enable

groups sit together, seats can be pre-booked at GBP7.50 per one-way flight,
or from only GBP15, extra-legroom seats are available, which offer up to six
inches of extra space.
