Isn't the normal wireless controller with charge kit included around that price? Or maybe $5 less?

That controller would probably look good with the RE5 Elite.

That's the benefit of online retailers. But for those who are walking in to stores, they are, for the most part, still paying that $64.99 for the standard combo. So a $5 price hike for this (so-called) limited edition may be very tempting when standing there looking at options available on the shelf.

I'm sure there will be e-tailers selling this new combo at discounted prices, like with the standard wireless/charge combo.

That's not true, in my Walmart there was a controller and a standard Xbox 360 Microphone for 49.99! now that is a deal for retail

That looks horrible

917.10.2009 19:35

No thank you, I'll pass.

Looks funky. Kinda like the radioactive symbol in black and red as opposed to yellow black.

If that's real carbon fiber, that must feel pretty nice in the hands. Not liking the red color though.

Probably just a pattern on the plastic.

Going by the ridiculous mark up prices microsoft has, it is going to be $90+ in Australia. I think I'll pass on this... I know a guy that can mould a thin piece of carbon fibre on the controller for cheap.

You're kidding me, right?

If I wanted to, I can airbrush a red nuclear sign on a standard XBOX game controller all by myself and save me some ca$h rather than buy this overpriced PoS.

Lets not forget this is a Gamestop exclusive. That probably tacked on the extra $10-$20 all by itself.

1519.10.2009 04:32

It's 5 dollars more than the standard controller and charge n play combo, not too bad if you like the color combo.

It's also at EB games and Micromania.

Who designed that?

Just as bad as having a big nasty red xbox in the livingroom (which I don't).

Stick to black or a dark chrome or even carbon fiber alone and leave off all the stupid decals and designs. people can add those themselves.

Exclusive to Gamestop and EB well they'll have plenty of dusty stock until the price is lowered to FREE.
