Google I/O 2014: Google Fit is the company's answer to the new fitness trend

Albeit with little details, Google has announced their Google Fit platform today, another direct response to Apple and their recently unveiled Health Kit platform for fitness.

The platform will organize all of your health and fitness data from different trackers and sensors you may be using.

Google also announced some partners working with Google Fit including Nike, Adidas, Withings, RunKeeper, and Basis.

The company's Fit SDK will be out in the coming weeks.
