It appears that efforts to hack Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) console may have gotten a big boost today with the discovery of a bug that could lead to working exploits to inject code. This in turn, could lead to PS3 homebrew and ISO loaders. Hacker "hacked2123" is given credit for distributing a proof-of-concept example for the LibMPEG exploit, which is confirmed working with v1.10 and v1.11.
