Pandora will now allow you to pay $1 for a "Day Pass" that gives you ad-free streaming for 24 hours Internet radio giant Pandora has officially made their previously announced "Day Pass" subscription available.
Pandora will now allow you to pay $1 for a "Day Pass" that gives you ad-free streaming for 24 hours, perfect for consumers who do not want to subscribe to the $4.99 Pandora One premium package but may have an event coming up like a party.

To get the Day Pass, you need to login, go to 'Settings' and then choose 'Pandora One' followed by 'Day Pass.' Easy enough.

Of course, Pandora hopes you will like the test run so much that you sign up for Pandora One moving forward and judging by how successful Pandora's experiment is, we may be seeing Spotify or other day passes in the future.

I somewhat prefer Slacker's larger track/artist selection and station customization, BUT: This is a great idea! Furthermore, if it's not popular, they're only out the small advertising investment (informing about the change) and they can just stop doing it. Easy peasy. An almost totally risk-free avenue for extra income, that also happens to effectively advertise Pandora to NON-subscription users? Genius!

Kudos to Pandora for having a decent marketing department; it's a rarity in the business world xD ...

I've been wanting this feature for a while. There are maybe 2 or 3 times a year where I use pandora extensively and would happily pay a small fee for no ads.

We put the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra through a very, very long review process. The $1800 mopping robot vacuum is almost perfect, but its obstacle avoidance was surprisingly bad, considering the price - and compared to its competitors.

In our review, we take a look at Sharge's power bank that supports OnePlus SuperVOOC quick charging technology as well as standard USB PD charging. It has small design flaws, but despite those, the Pouch is very nice product.
