Konami to begin reissuing PlayStation 2 games Konami has announced that they will begin reissuing popular Sony PlayStation 2 games in Europe soon, confirming recent Internet rumors.
"They are proper reissues," says the publisher, via Eurogamer. "Konami has put them out at budget price because of demand. They are re-manufactured. They are ours."

The games set for reissue are: Suikoden Tactics, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4.

"We've manufactured certain amounts depending on the title," Konami noted, "and they're being bought by wholesalers so will likely pop up in independent rather than chain stores."

The games will cost anywhere between GBP 10 and GBP 20, with most probably towards the higher end of the spectrum.

1.- Digital downloads, why you keep living in the past?, why make it so difficult

2.- Port to PC, you want to find a wider market, mmm, maybe is time for a port to PC, seriously, how hard could it be for any computer now to run suikoden, i would certainly buy it, do you ever wonder why emulators exist?

Digital downloads would work fine for ps3 owners if all the ps3's could emulate PS2 games.

Porting to pc might not work so well. That requires going in there and changing the code to get it to work.

I know it's not as easy as it sounds, but still, how can a publisher get a game like fifa out for ps2, ps3, wii, xbox360 and pc???, maybe 10 years ago it would be crazy, but i think that there is people out there that have figured it out pretty good how to handle this things.
