Facebook integrates Twitter into service Facebook has quietly integrated Twitter into its social networking service.
The integration means Twitter fans can now update their streams from within their Facebook profile.

Facebook's "Subscribe for Public Figures" guide has the following:

Yes, soon you'll be able to update your Twitter account directly from Facebook.

To get started:
1) Go to facebook.com/twitter
2) Link your profile or Page to your Twitter account

Once you link your accounts, your Twitter account will be updated every time you post a public update to Facebook.

There has been a similar service for Facebook "Pages" but not for your own personal profile.

I predict that 5 years from now, Facebook will be dying out and lose 80-90% of its popularity and recognition that it has now. I hate it and see it simply as a tool to get in touch with people I can't find. Don't surf it, don't spend more than 5 minutes on and and use it once every 2-3 months at best.

People that do dedicate a large portion of their attention to FB need to be slapped hard and are seriously numb in the mind. Seriously........poll the peeps you know as to how much time they spend. Those that spend a lot are a bit more timid, slow, lackadaisical and just downright bafoons.
