LG G Watch is water resistant, always on

Written by Andre Yoskowitz @ 23 Apr 2014 8:26 User comments (6)

LG G Watch is water resistant, always on While not revealing too much, LG has provided more information about their upcoming G-Watch.
The smartwatch will be the first to use the Android Wear operating system, followed later in the year by other devices from Motorola and Samsung.

Among the new revelations is the fact that the device will have an "always-on" screen, will be dust and water proof and will be available in both black and champagne gold.

Android Wear, introduced by Google earlier this year, is built around the Google Now user interface and includes access to Google Maps and built-in voice controls.

If the screen is always on, you're draining the battery. And if that thing is in my room, I would have to hide it so the light doesn't distract me from sleeping. This product fails.

Of course, they say whether or not the screen is always lit on, or just always active on without the lighting.

...should say it's "always ugly" too.

Yeah I agree with you on this one, I for one would enjoy a smartwatch to have on my wrist but not if I have to worry about constantly charging it every day. Especially after being use to wearing my ordinary watch with a battery that last for years. I honestly cant wait to see what the moto watch will feature for they charging technique. I would rather buy that than this watch because it actually looks like a genuine watch.

Agreed!!!!!! FAIL!

And if this requires your phone then it's a double fail.
