DFX for WinAMP v8.35

DFX is a DSP/Effect plug-in for WinAMP with a nice UI. Adjust fidelity, ambience and dynamic boost. The full version has 3D surround too, but even as such it enhances the sound nicely.

IMHO the earlier version (6 I think) let you shrink the controls for this plugin to the system tray to keep it off the task bar. I think that 7 also worked better as far as not hogging resources (I tried 8 on a Pentium with only 384 megs of ram at the time). If you have a good chunk of RAM (I have a dual core with 2 gigs right now), this plug-in ROCKS - especially when you have a good subwoofer. You WON'T go back to WinAmp's equalizer much. And as far as I am concerned, WinAmp does kick ass -- it's the best one out there and DFX makes the best audio plugin :-)
