HTC Sensation, XE getting Ice Cream Sandwich next month

HTC Sensation, XE getting Ice Cream Sandwich next month The popular smartphones will be getting the promised Android 4.0 update at some point next month.
Followed by the Sensation XL within a small time frame, the HTC Sensation and Sensation XE will be the first two HTC devices to receive the much-anticipated update.

Reads the company's Facebook page: "HTC has been working hard to get its Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades ready, and we're excited to announce that our first round of ICS upgrades will roll out by the end of March for the HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE."



Additionally, the company says the update will be headed to the HTC EVO 3D, HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire S and HTC Desire HD "later in the year."

For American-only phones, the Sensation 4G and XE will be the first, while the HTC Rezound, HTC Vivid, HTC Amaze 4G, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G will also play the waiting game.
