PS4 will not support DualShock 3 controllers

Sony has confirmed; the upcoming PlayStation 4 will not support DualShock 3 controllers.
Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony's Worldwide Studios, says the PlayStation Move will be supported, however.

The move should not be seen as a total surprise, especially since the PS4 does not natively support PS3 games, anyways.

PS Move tech is built into the DualShock 4 controllers and there will be a PS4 Eye for motion gaming.

Sony just recently announced the PS4, showing off some gameplay demos and features. Read more from our launch post here: Sony Announces PS4

Yeah, what you are saying makes so much sense. The console hasn't even been released and you're saying, nobody won't buy it, because 4 others and yourself, won't buy it, simply because the current, dual sock controllers, won't be compatible with the PS4.

Was the original xbox controllers, compatible with the xbox360? eh duhh duhh No! Coming to the conclusion that a console is successful or not, whether their controllers are compatible with the prior console, makes no sense whatsoever.

Stop your trolling you xbotfanboys and stfu. k thanks

Na, they are just copying the OUYA (controllers) which has had a major impact on the scene. It's designed to cross-platform mobile games. Also it's structured to make it easier (read cheaper) to program for, which was a HUGE issue with the PS3 from the start.
