AnyDVD v5.6.3.1

AnyDVD is a tool that removes automatically the CSS copy protection and RPC region codes from your DVDs in the moment you insert the disc in.

So, with AnyDVD you can use all the DVD backup tools, such as CloneDVD without having to rip the DVD to your HDD first.

Software also overrides your DVD-ROM drive's region code mechanism, so even if you have RPC-2 locked DVD-ROM drive, you can still watch DVDs from any country in the world with your PC.

On 1st of January, 2006, a new copyright legislation came into force in Finland that made it illegal to distribute tools that allow circumvention of technical copy protections. The legislation was approved by Finnish parliament and was based on European Union Copyright Directive, a law that each EU member state has to implement to their national legislations.

I have tried xcopy, xcopy platinum and a couple others and have found the combination of AnyDVD & Clone to work great and are very user friendly. I'm a newbie to this and I didn't have a lot of problems and made a perfect copy the first time. I recommend it very highly.

dtamayo All you need is AnyDvd and Nero and you will be able to backup your dvds. First, uninstall Dvd Shrink and Dvd Decrypter you don't need them leave Nero alone. Put your disc in and wait a minute or two for Anydvd to load. Then click Start(on taskbar) Programs, Nero, Nero Vision Express 3, Nero Recode. This is way I do all my backups including Bewitched. No problems at all.

I agree with the other comments here. This software rips and burns any dvd, and the quality is excellent. I tried several programs that allege to do the same, but they don't. AnyDVD with CloneDVD2 is an outstanding, and very reasonably priced bundle. Try before you buy. But if you're like me, you'll try and decide to buy long before the 30 day trial expires.
