Alcohol 52% v1.9.5.3105
Alcohol 52% is a powerful yet easy to use CD/DVD image making and mounting tool. You can read in a CD or DVD from CD/DVD-ROM drive to create a disc image file that can be used in a virtual drive without the original CD/DVD.
Many light weight laptops don''t have a built-in optical drive anymore. Using Alcohol 52%''s virtual drive emulation laptop users can have the CDs they need with them without having to carry around an external CD drive. You can define several virtual drives and mount each with a separate CD or DVD image file.
Alcohol 52''s virtual drive emulation is capable of emulating features used by several copy protection schemes, e.g. bad sectors (used by SafeDisc and SafeDisc 2), sub-channel data (used by SecuROM) and LaserLock.
Alcohol 52% does not support CD/DVD burning. Alcohol 120% contains all the features of Alcohol 52% and is also capable of burning discs.
