WinDAC v1.54

One of the best CDDA rippers for Windows platform. With WinDAC you can also use different kind of CODECs, so you can also rip directly into nice quality MP3s from your CD tracks. WinDAC also supports CDDB, so you (in most cases) don't have to type the filenames and ID3s by yourself.

Update: WinDAC is currently (05/2002) slightly out-dated product, as there are several better CD rippers available. But is still definately does it job pretty damn well.

On 1st of January, 2006, a new copyright legislation came into force in Finland that made it illegal to distribute tools that allow circumvention of technical copy protections. The legislation was approved by Finnish parliament and was based on European Union Copyright Directive, a law that each EU member state has to implement to their national legislations.
