On 1st of January, 2006, a new copyright legislation came into force in Finland that made it illegal to distribute tools that allow circumvention of technical copy protections. The legislation was approved by Finnish parliament and was based on European Union Copyright Directive, a law that each EU member state has to implement to their national legislations.

DVDFAB doesn't keep up with newer version movies. Purchased it but hardly use it. DVD Shrink is free and DVD Decrypter is free if one can't do it the other can. Would be a great program if they kept it updated all the time. Burns a fast old movie but has problems with newer versions.

I've been the "Express" part of the package using this for a long time now and it is a good fast, simple tool for general movie back-ups. Quality starts to fall off if you're trying fit a series on to one disc though. All in all a good "one touch" solution with other options included in the bundled "Gold" option. Personally if I need the options of the "Gold" package, then I prefer to use "Shrink" or "Rebuilder"

Very good one click ripper/burner. This is worth buying. I have not burned a coaster yet.

Great Product for a great price. With just a few clicks you are up and running. DVDFAB Express is great just one click and you are all set. Just sit back and watch your movie burn. I purchased the registered version because so far I haven't seen any other program that has the capabilities and the easyness of one software, to takle all the problems when burning backups of your DVD's. You will not go wrong if you purchase this software. Plain and simple, It just does what it promises.
