DVD43 v3.7.0

DVD43 is a small tool that integrates into Windows and overrides copy-protection mechanisms found on DVD-Video discs (namely, CSS) and DVD region limitations (in case you have RPC-2 DVD drive). Integrates nicely with CloneDVD, DVD2One, WinDVD, PowerDVD, etc.

This software is no longer available, this page is stored for archival puposes only.

On 1st of January, 2006, a new copyright legislation came into force in Finland that made it illegal to distribute tools that allow circumvention of technical copy protections. The legislation was approved by Finnish parliament and was based on European Union Copyright Directive, a law that each EU member state has to implement to their national legislations.

So, it seems to work ok at times but not others. I am having a lot of problems getting an error message that the DVD is encoded. This message isn't at the beginning of the DVD rip, rather sometime in the middle of the process. ANy ideas?

I've used this software for several years and haven't really found anything better that I know of. Does have problems decoding anything with Sony though. Next update needs to have Sony decoding!!!

Pretty good software... Couldn't crack War of the Worlds, Madagascar, or The Skeleton Key... neither could anyDVD...
