SlySoft has released a new stable version of its mega-popular (Elby produced) DVD backup software, CloneDVD v2.9.0.8. CloneDVD is an easy to use, wizard-driven DVD-9 to DVDR backup software. It is capable of backing up either the complete DVD including all the chapters, extras, and menus, or just the selected titles. If necessary, CloneDVD will compress the video content to fit a single, 4.3 gigabyte DVD-R.
The company recommends that CloneDVD be used in conjunction with its AnyDVD application, which removes copy protection from the DVD on-the-fly in the background once installed and running. Here is the short changelog for CloneDVD v2.9.0.8.
