BetaCrypt 2 is a Conditional Access System developed after the original BetaCrypt 1 system was compromized. Since it's use, BetaCrypt 2 has also been compromised. It was designed to protect subsscription television content on digital broadcasting. It was developed by a KirchMedia subsidiary.
