Media Interoperability Unit

A Media Interoperability Unit (MIU) device is a Home Infrastructure Device defined by the guidelines of the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) trade group.

These devices provide content transformation between required media formats for home network and mobile handheld devices.

These devices should carry a DLNA-Certified logo on their packaging.
