Cryptoworks

Cryptoworks is a Conditional Access System originally developed by Philips CryptoTec but now belonging to Irdeto. It was developed to control access to premium content for subscribers on digital video broadcasts. For examples, it is currently being used with UPC Direct, BFBS and DigiTurk. it is used widely across (mostly) Europe, but is nowadays considered partially-compromized from a security perspective.
