Megabyte

A measurement of digital information storage or transmission, and a multiple of the unit "byte."

Megabytes are 2^20, which is equal to 1,048,576 bytes when in relation to computer memory like RAM.

The Megabytes are 10^6, or 1,000,000 bytes when in relation to storage solutions like flash drives or hard drives.

MB are one of the smaller measures of byte multiples, with most songs and pictures nowadays taking up 5-10 Megabytes, each.
