High Definition generally refers to the resolution of digital video, with resolutions of 1280x720 and 1920x1080 being the most common resolutions referred to as High Definition.
The acronym HD when referring to broadcast radio stands for Hybrid Digital. That is, the radio is capable of receiving both analog and digital radio broadcasts.

Rockjockey...there is a little difference between radio and TV/Video.The latter involves a picture.
