MultisessionThe term Multisession, when used in reference to optical disc recording, describes a disc with more than one data session. Optical disc data is laid out in sessions which contain lead-in and lead-out information. Each session must include at least one track to comply with specifications, and there is a limit of 99 tracks per session. Multisession compilations are often created on write-once recordable media, allowing additional data to be added to the disc later on.
