.awb

A file with a .awb extension is based on Adaptive Multi-rate Wide Band (AMR-WB), which is used with mobile phone networks to carry speech data. While .awb files are much less common than .amr files, they are also used moreso for voice recordings (as it is used for speech data transmission).

It uses higher bitrates to provide wide-band quality, but still is unsuitable for audio recordings.
