Electronic Frontiers Canada

Electronic Frontiers Canda is an organization aimed at protecting civil rights in the digital world wanting to protect the freedom of speech, the right to privacy and freedom of information.

They advocate and campaign for regulation and reform in the areas of digital privacy, internet censorship and copyright law issues.

Campaigns by Electric Frontiers Canada have included a submission to government concerning reforms of the Internet service provider wiretapping legislation and also intervened in a filsharing case where a Canadian court refused to allow the Canadian Recording Industry Association along with major record labels from gaining user information of alleged copyright infringers from through their Internet service provider.
