VOBU

A VOBU is the smallest unit of video that can be played back. It usually contains a single GOP, but may not contain any video at all. Regardless of whether it contains video, the minimum playback time is .4 seconds, while the longest is 1 second.

Each VOBU consists of one or more packs.
