Mobile Digital Media Server

A Mobile Digital Media Server (M-DMS) is a DLNA device, classed as a Mobile Handheld Device.

These devices are mobile wireless devices, that are capable of storing content and feeding it to other DLNA devices. In particular, M-DMS devices can push content to Mobile Digital Media Players (M-DMP), digital media renderers (DMR) and digital media printers (DMPr).

Such devices can include smartphones or portable media players. To find out whether a device is DLNA-Certified or not, check the packaging for the logo.
