PEGI 3

PEGI 3 is a rating from the Pan-European Game Information (PEGI) system.

This label does not necessarily dictate that it is unsuitable for toddlers under three years old. Instead, it confirms that the video game content is more or less completely suitable for all.

To get a PEGI 3 label, a game cannot contain violence being carried out by a character that a child could identify as a person. For example, the type of violence seen in Tom & Jerry and similar cartoons would be acceptable for a PEGI 3 rating.

PEGI 3 games also cannot contain content that is likely to frighten a toddler. PEGI 3 is almost like a base-rating for video games. The next rating up is PEGI 7.

Other ratings include PEGI OK, PEGI 12, PEGI 16 and PEGI 18.
