PEGI 7

PEGI 7 is a rating from the Pan-European Game Information (PEGI) system.

This label does not necessarily dictate that it is unsuitable for children under seven years old, but instead means that the content in the title did not pass the requirements for a PEGI 3 label.

To get a PEGI 3 label, a game cannot contain violence being carried out by a character that a child could identify as a person. For example, the type of violence seen in Tom & Jerry and similar cartoons would be acceptable for a PEGI 3 rating.PEGI 3 games also cannot contain content that is likely to frighten a toddler.

Failing the above test but still remaining suitable for most pre-teens, a game title will be given a PEGI 7 rating.

The title may contain scenes or content that may frighten a child under the age of 7.

Other ratings include PEGI OK, PEGI 12, PEGI 16 and PEGI 18.
