ActiveMovie

ActiveMovie was a video programming interface developed by Microsoft Corp. and deployed on the Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT operating systems. It provided playback support for MPEG video, AVI and Quicktime. It also provided support to playback WAV audio. ActiveMovie was replaced by DirectShow later.
